What ITH measures
The temperature-humidity index (ITH) combines modeled outdoor air temperature and relative humidity for the selected coordinates. Historical and forecast periods are shown separately, using Open-Meteo as the weather source.
- Results do not represent animal-level exposure, health status, direct farm observations, or conditions involving barns, pens, shade, ventilation, cooling, facilities or water access
- Forecast values may change, and modeled weather can differ from conditions measured on site
- This environmental decision-support tool does not provide veterinary diagnosis or treatment advice; observe animals directly and follow local and veterinary protocols
- The results show the active methodology version exactly as returned by the API; the frontend does not calculate ITH, recompute classifications, alter thresholds or fill threshold gaps
- Unclassified intervals are intentional API results: they remain visible, are not ranked and are not reassigned by the frontend
- No Guatemala-specific empirical validation is claimed
- BGPD Labs does not intentionally persist coordinates, user data or calculation history in this frontend; third-party infrastructure may maintain operational logs under its own policies
